A video of a Catholic high school kid in a MAGA hat standing and smiling while a Native American elder beat a drum in his face went viral with a fake narrative of harassment and white supremacy etc. which was debunked by a longer video showing the man approached the kid and got in his face and not vice versa. Some pundits and outlets corrected themselves in light of the new evidence and some didn’t. This is right after BuzzFeed was called out by Mueller for a fake Russiagate story with no evidence.
When will the fake news let up? Do these outlets need to be sued out of existence for slander? Have they no shame? The freedom of the press does not include lies and slander.
