Her husband was an ex-drug dealer. She too was a drug dealer in college. She was a talented sprinter as a college athlete. She talks about male pastors who are gay and having sex with young boys and girls. Jesse talks with her about women being pastors over men, marriage, morality, and the black community.

Pastor Kim Daniels later became a city council member, and then a state representative as a Democrat (in at least one post she refers to "blue dog Democrats"). In 2018, she said, "I thank God for slavery. I thank God for the crack house; if it wasn't for the crack house...God would've never been able to use me how he can use me now. And if it wasn't for slavery, I might be somewhere in Africa worshiping a tree."

Kim Daniels was one of several black preachers who met with Jared Kushner in the Trump White House in early March 2019, with the Urban Revitalization Coalition / Urban Faith Coalition under Pastor Darrell Scott. They talked about "Opportunity Zones" for "African Americans."
