This is for when the threat is in your personal space and you can't establish distance by moving away. You can not wait for him to strike, it's too late.

Short Edge of hand travels from where ever it is. You'll notice I hold my hands in a particular manner in the second set. This enables me to get my hands above his and gives me a clear shot to his head group from a NON THREATENING position.

The Short edge of hand is the disrupter. Then I proceed to attack more aggressively.
