Note on Body Language Observation:
This woman had us in tears. Her body language is clear and harmonious with everything she is saying. I think the key to her maintaining her calm is how she's carefully inhaling through her nose. This is VERY important in controlling oneself in this kind of situation; had she been inhaling through her mouth, it would have have that gaspy, reverse shrieking sound that happens when someone emotionally talks while inhaling through the mouth. All that said, she maintained her focus and made her points eloquently and powerfully with undeniable Maternal Force.
I have only now learned about Miram Cisneros, but I intend on learning as much as I can about her and even support her if she were to run for President of Ecuador. Starting my research, the first thing I found was that her wikipidia page in Spanish has been deleted within the last 24 hours of posting this on 14Oct19.
From what I've found, she's was named President by the Sarayaku Congress in May 2017, the same time Moreno became president of the republic. She has been very outspoken in defense of her territory's ecology and has been fighting to save it from further destructive exploitation for oil production from sensitive areas of the Amazon.
In 2017, she said:
When I was named as President by the Congress of Sarayaku, I felt so nervous, because first of all, I did not know what challenges were awaiting me. And what I said to the women, because the women had been supporting me, was, ‘now is the time for us to demonstrate our leadership, because women have always been at the front of all of our fights, carrying our children, caring for our husbands, caring for the garden, feeding our households – in all aspects, including in the marches, so now..
