It was midnight on a Wednesday night in July of 1932, when four young people left Sunset Beach in Sag Harbor, Long Island, and headed home.
They headed down North Sea Rd, towards Sunrise Parkway and approached the intersection of Stony Hill Rd. As they neared the intersection, the teens saw a figure standing in the center of the road, “clad in white” and holding a shotgun.
The gun was aimed directly at them.
