🌋 'Ploom of Doom' Alert... Italy's super-volcano rumbles day & nite

Earthquake in the morning today, Monday 13 May, at Campi Flegrei: at 3.30 am the earth shook with a magnitude of 2.9 and the epicenter was the Submerged Archaeological Park of Baia. Shock recorded by the seismographs of the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology. Felt distinctly in all the Campi Flegrei, but less so in the western area of ​​Naples due to its depth (3 kilometres) and above all because it is located entirely in the sea, it is yet another earthquake with a magnitude above 2 which has been recorded in the last few days, from that is, when a new seismic swarm began in the area.
Two other smaller events, both of magnitude 1.4, were recorded at 00.30 and 3.52, while on Sunday there was a seismic swarm with a series of slight tremors, all between magnitude 1.0 and 1.7.

"The Vesuvian Observatory has communicated to this administration the occurrence of a seismic event of magnitude 2.9 ± 0.3 located in the Gulf of Pozzuoli. The earthquake occurred at 3:30 local time (UTC 01:30), at the depth of 2.9 km. The event may have been accompanied by a roar heard by the inhabitants near the coastal area", announced the Municipality of Pozzuoli through its official channels.
