I'm half convinced the secret side plot of this series is that God is sick and tired of dealing with these girls and is dumping them on Keiichi for some daycare.
Joking aside, I find Peorth to be a very nice addition to the crew, she is very emotive and spices up the story with her actions. Unlike the other 3 she has one interesting side trait that you might not pick up on first viewing if you don't speak Japanese, she speaks in different tones and refinement as the others because she is supposed to be old fashioned, in the manga it was a different dialect, here they opted for the classic French hoity toity lady style, you'll see as the show develops. Also she is one of the only few characters in this show that actually takes the name from mythology, in this case the Nordic one.
For those who saw the first series and still want more, this is where you'll find it.
This second series continues a bit after the first series and introduces a lot more mystical elements, explaining "heaven" and "hell" in greater detail, and exposing possible flaws that might endanger Keiichi's contract. While most second series seem to lose the magic from the original, this series stands out as it builds upon the first series and expands in a meaningful way other than increasing the animation budget.
I was quite impressed with this sequel as it is on par with the first in terms of characters, yet adds on an even more engaging storyline. If I had anything to complain about, it would be the over-the-top nature of some of the battles, and some minor plot holes, but those aside this is a solid season and a great watch, in a similar fashion to the first series.
