It would seem they may do a fake rapture event in the near future and maybe even during this eclipse. I feel like these guys like Greg Reese/Alex Jones/Joe Rogan and the others I believe are shills will promote the fake rapture event if the powers that be decide to do one. This day and age they probably have some advanced AI animation CGI where they can make a rapture event take place. Then with the shill networks interviewing eyewitnesses to the event.

There is no pre-tribulation rapture. That fantasy has been pushed by mainstream churches since the 1800's. A fake pre-trib rapture event will disillusion many Christians as they will feel they were left behind.
