Freemasons admit that their main enemy was always the Catholic Church. The primary victims of liberal revolutions were always Catholics. Also, in Albert Pike's reply to Pope Leo XIII after the Pope wrote Humanum Genus (which strongly condemned freemasonry), Albert Pike (self-titled "Grand Pontiff of Freemasonry") clearly stated that Jesuits cannot join the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, because of the oaths Jesuits take to the Church & to serve Jesus Christ. People who push the "it's the Jesuits" conspiracy never have any evidence - because there is none. The so-called "Jesuit oath" going around the internet is fake: there's no documentation of it having historically existed, ever. Jesuits were kicked out of countries because monarchies were not only getting more liberal as Freemasonry spread into royal courts, but also monarchs & royal ministers coveted Jesuit enterprises: Jesuits ran successful universities & estates like vineyards, other businesses, etc. The author of "Vatican Assassins", Eric Von Phelps is an Israeli diamond trader. Those are the people pushing the "Jesuits" conspiracy theories... Interesting how people crying "Jesuits" just happen to push flat earth theory as well: both of which are lies meant to damage the reputation of the Catholic Church.
