It is not just the main stream media in America that lie to it's public. We see this just about everywhere in the western world too. So for example, the dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad felt it a good idea to publish an article where they more or less are amazed that the dutch people act so stoic on what they call the first terror attack since the murder of Theo van Gogh of 14 years ago. But was it realy the first?
It is true that the Netherlands hasn't seen a lot of islamic terrorism, one could argue because the police prevents a lot, or indeed because the dutch muslim population on average is far more secular then it is in the countries around it. Yet still, the main stream media feels it has to lie about it.
This articles is in dutch but I think translate will work on them too. This is the main article from the newspaper. The second article, which I photographed too, I cannot find online.
