The Anglo-American military bureaucracies have a MENTAL BLOCK that stops them from mounting cannon on tracked tanks unless they are in lazy man's TURRETS squandering 46% of vehicle payload potential all because they don't want to have to move the tank to point towards the enemy. The Germans' tanks OUT-GUNNED Anglo-American tanks all throughout WW2 because they mounted them turretless onto anything tracked & armored that moved--getting BIG GUNS on LIGHT LITTLE TANKS. MAGA? Even in 1945, the USMIL was partially FUBAR. 90mm AA guns could have been fixed-mounted to M3/5 Stuarts (AmeroSTUGs) long before the open-turret, M18 Super Hellcat COMBAT OVERMATCHING German Panther & Tiger HEAVY tanks.
