Protestantism Exposed Pt.2: Martin Luther & Denominations - The Foul Fruit of Protestantism
Protestantism is not true Christianity: all their churches & "denominations" were founded by & named after man. Each of the "denominations" (including "non-denominational" so-called "churches") are simply false religions. Protestantism splits & frays into sub groups that disagree on doctrine, juristiction & basics of faith, because they are not the one true faith (Ephesians 4:5).
And if he will not hear them: tell the church. And if he will not hear the church, let him be to thee as the heathen and publican. - Matthew 18:17

Salvation requires works according to James 2:24 & many other passages: you can't just sit there, sin all you like & go to heaven. You have to have faith & works so your faith is not dead (James 2:17 & James 2:20). Jesus said if you love Him, obey the commandments (John 15:14 & John 14:15). That means if you disobey Him, you don't love Him. If you don't love Jesus, you don't go to heaven. If you refuse to obey Him, which means refusing to do works for Him, which He expects of you, you will be denied heaven. Clearly, salvation is by works & faith, not just by faith alone (James 2:24). There's a reason why Martin Luther wanted to burn the Epistle of James - because it rebuked his false gospel.
The Christian faith (a faith is a religion) is received when you accept the Gospel (which means accepting the Catholic Church, which the Gospel foretold & establishes) and are baptized in the name of the Father, Son & Holy Ghost with real & natural water. You must act upon that faith by being faithfully obedient, otherwise you are unfaithful. Here are some verses that crush "faith alone", stressing the necessity of obedience to God & His commandments:
Who said to him: Why asketh thou me concerning good? One is good, God. But if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. - Matthew 19:17
Scripture warns us that committing grave sins will ban you from entering the kingdom of God, which contradicts "faith alone":
Know you not that the unjust shall not possess the kingdom of God? Do not err: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor the effeminate, nor liers with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor railers, nor extortioners, shall possess the kingdom of God. - 1 Corinthians 6:9-10
This debunks "faith alone" & "once saved always saved". You indeed need faith, however that includes obedience and avoiding the sins above. You also need to be part of the church Jesus founded - the Catholic Church.
There's a lot more commandments that are necessary other than just believing. If you believe in Jesus, you will do what He says. If you don't do what He says or go around trying to imply as if people don't need to do what He says, then you are not a Christian. The Catholic faith is necessary in order to be Christian. I say this out of charity. Here are some links that can be helpful.
