Habakkuk 2:3 - For the vision is yet for the APPOINTED TIME; it testifies about the end and will not lie. Though it DELAYS, wait for it, since it will certainly come and NOT BE LATE.
God has always had an appointed time for the rapture. He is not changing the time or moving it back. The delays are simply part of His amazing puzzle to show us His incredible love, mercy and long-suffering as we see how that time and time again, He could have brought His judgment but He delayed and is shortening the days to as little as Scripturally possible for the sake of the elect. This puzzle is all about His mercy, His grace and His incredible love for His children, not wanting anyone to perish, but all to come to eternal life through His Son.
When the delays have finished, it is time for the 7th angel to sound his trumpet and for the mystery of God (the firstfruits rapture of the Church) to be accomplished.
Revelation 10:5-7 - Then the angel I had seen standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven. And he swore by him who lives for ever and ever, who created the heavens and all that is in them, the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all that is in it, and said, “There will be NO MORE DELAY! But in the days when the seventh angel is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be accomplished, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.”
1 Corinthians 15:51-53 - Behold, I show you a mystery: We shall not all sleep; but we shall all be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
The mystery of God is the rapture of the church. The angel in Revelation 10 tells us that there will be no more delay – this means there was a delay, just as we are also told in Matthew 25 that the Bridegroom was delayed and the virgins fell asleep.
