Vindman Was the Patsy in Impeach Scam, 3137
Good afternoon, I’m still reporting on the coup.
Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, a key witness in President Donald Trump's impeachment inquiry, is retiring from the Army after more than 21 years because for some reason, after failing to oust his boss, the Commander in Chief, he suddenly realized that he would never be promoted again. Vindman and his attorney call this political retaliation by the President and his allies.
Trump fired Vindman as his top Ukraine expert on the National Security Council, then fired his twin brother who was an NSC lawyer.
First of all, making that next step up to Full Colonel is a high bar and many retire rather than wait for a slot. Why? Because of the 10,707 Lt. Colonels in the U.S. Army, only 4,700 will ever be promoted to Colonel. After that, only 200 of the Full Colonels eventually are promoted to be one-star generals.
So, one little ding on your record and you can forget about promotion, but in addition, this guy, Lt. Col. Vindman, was probably lying during his testimony before the House Impeachment Inquiry, trying as hard as he could to get his boss fired.
Vindman went to Trump’s political enemies and gave them whatever they wanted. But, it didn’t work, and he thinks he’s just going to show up for work the next day like nothing happened with no effect on his career?
The guy is incredibly slow, and from watching his testimony, he looked it. At any regular ordinary old job, if you go to the police and try to get your boss arrested for something you think he did but he says he didn’t do, and the court sides with your boss, are you going to go into work on Monday morning expecting everything to be just like it was?
Life doesn’t work like that.
But even beyond that, from his testimony it was obvious that Vindman didn’t understand his job. He was an advisor. It wasn’t up to him to determine what US national security policy should be. He was a lieutenant colonel advising the commander-in-chief – at least 5 levels of rank above him. His job was to offer advice and any president of the has a duty to make up his own mind about what is in the best interest of the nation. That’s the president’s job, not some mid-level military advisor.
Vindman, judging from his testimony, believed that Trump should be removed from office because a lieutenant colonel disagreed with his decision about pursuing the country’s best interest with Ukraine. It’s a truly bizarre opinion and Vindman should have been removed from his job at the White House, not only because of his testimony but because he didn’t understand what his job was.
Of course, he never thought he would fail. He was being told by the Democrats it was a sure thing that Trump would be out of office in a matter of weeks, and then in 2020 when the Democrats won the presidency he could name his job. But when you make a play against your boss’s boss’s boss’s, boss’s, boss and it doesn’t work out, you have to know that there will be consequences to pay.
Actually Vindman got off light. It sounds like someone explained to him that he would never be promoted, so he retired.
My dad was a Lt. Col. In the Air Force. He knew it would be years before he would get another promotion, and he knew that his three kids would be in college before then. So he retired and accepted an offer from private industry.
No, this is just another Vindman make believe. Trump actually treated him well – as usual for this boss. Vindman didn’t even lose his job for going after the commander-in-chief.
The mainstream media would have you believe he did, but he didn’t. All that happened was he got transferred out of the White House and sent back to the Pentagon where he could no longer have access to TOPSECRET EYES ONLY material, which is pretty sweet for someone who played a big role in an attempted coup.
Now he has to find a job in the private sector, which should be no problem because he has a lot of Democratic friends who need to pay him back.
Every hustle needs a patsy - someone to take the heat if things go bad, and Vindman fit the bill for the Democrats. All of the Democrats who put him up to it are all still collecting paychecks.
He and his attorney can whine about it for the rest of his natural life, but no one will be listening.
I’m still reporting from the citadel of American freedom. Good day.
