So many Christians have said to me, "The Bible does NOT say the Earth is FLAT". Of course, the Bible does NOT say the Earth is a ball. However, the Bible not only teaches that the Earth is FLAT from Job 38:14, it also uses the term "Flat Earth" in the original Greek in a passage in Revelation. This amazing discovery in the Word of God was completely the leading of the Holy Spirit. I was not looking for this or even studying the Flat Earth subject at the moment I found this confirming passage.
"NASA and modern astronomers claim we are living on an oblate spheroid 25,000 statute miles in equatorial circumference with a curvature of 7.935 inches to the mile, varying inversely as the square of the distance, meaning in 3 miles there is a declination of nearly 6 feet, in 30 miles 600 feet, in 300 miles 60,000 feet and so on. Therefore, if we wish to prove or disprove the validity of their convexity (curvature) claim, it is a fairly simple, straight-forward matter of measurements and calculations.
This fairly simple method of proving the curvature or flatness of the Earth was exactly what we did on April 30, 2016. Me, my wife Nancy and Faith met one of my church elders Kevin Wilkinson with his family and an engineer with a degree from LSU by the name of Paul Kelly at North Beach Park in Fairhope, Alabama to test the curvature of the Earth across Mobile Bay toward the Port of Mobile and downtown Mobile, Alabama. It was a 12.5 to 13 mile test across the bay. We used a Nikon 900 Zoom camera and an Orion Telescope. The camera was on a tripod at about 6 feet above sea level and the telescope was at about 3-4 feet above sea level. And according to the math (confirmed by our engineer and the Earth Curvature Calculator), there should have been between 66-74 feet (between 7 and 8 stories) hidden behind the curve of the Earth. However, as we our pictures and videos confirm, we could see the hull of ships sitting in the water from 13 miles away. We could see the bottoms of ship loading cranes all the way to the ground. We could even see the hull of the USS Alabama that is a fixed museum in Port of Mobile.
So, we have irrefutable, measurable, repeatable, scientific and mathematical proof that the Earth is flat. And that means that every alleged picture or video of the Earth being a sphere has been a hoax. And then, when you really begin to look at the so-called pictures of NASA and other space agencies with some scrutiny, you find that they were caught faking a picture of Earth during the Apollo 11 mission. Then, you see all the mistakes they made faking the moon missions. Then, you discover that NASA admits that almost all their photographs of the Earth are composites. Even Hubble's so-called "pictures" are "artists renditions." Then, you catch the bad Photoshop jobs that NASA puts forth as actual pictures (which a friend of mine did for himself). It is really quite amazing how obvious it becomes when you break free from the years of brainwashing.
Amazingly, the Lord through King David and the Apostle Paul specifically warned us in Psalm 2 and Romans 1 that there would be a massive conspiracy of world leaders against the God of the Bible and His Messiah Jesus Christ that would include suppressing the truth about creation.
"Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us. He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure" (Psalm 2:1-5).
"The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold (suppress) the truth in unrighteousness;
Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
For the invisible things of him from the CREATION of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:"
(Romans 1:18-20).
