DARWIN | THE CORE of Mac OS. Installing OpenDarwin

We are going to discuss Darwin: The core of modern Mac OS.

Mac OS core is based on multiple components, such as:

- BSD
- Mach
- NeXTSTEP

OpenDarwin and PureDarwin were the attempts to make Darwin a fully functional standalone Operating System. It was a collaboration with the Open Source community.

The latest version of OpenDarwin was 8.0.1 and it was available as an ISO download.
