Playgirl Killer (1968) Canuxploitation w/ Bill Kerwin of 'Blood Feast' and Neil Sedaka....(Huh?)

HG Lewis regular Bill Kerwin plays a neurotic painter who has an obsession with still-life, and by still, I mean killed and thrown into a meat freezer.
If any of his models move while he's sketching them, he goes bat-shit bananas.
Somehow Neil Sedaka was thrown into this bit with no real significance except to sing one of his lesser known tunes "the waterbug", at a pool party before heading off to college, I'm assuming "the waterbug" was a dance craze that never caught on, myself I would have preferred to hear 'calender girl' or 'little devil'.
But you do get to hear a decent rockin ditty by Montreal garage band J.B. and the Playboys perform 'Leave My Woman Alone', not to mention bikini clad pool party go-go dancers, twisters and jerkers.
If you love 60s nostalgia as much as I do, you'll get your 60s fix in this for sure, plenty of old cars, big hair, nice shot of downtown neon Montréal nightlife and bright pastel Eastman-Colors.
Not much blood or nudity, but it doesn't take away the films charm, plenty of cute gals in their underwear or bikini's, and Bill Kerwin making crazy faces, watching Bill Kerwin is always a treat, it was said in the H.G. Lewis documentary 'The Godfather of Gore' that Bill Kerwin was quite big drinker and ladies man.
Edit: He's also known for co-starring with comedian/actor Harvey Korman in an educational Home Ec. film-short on how to properly cut meat....yes really.
