The original Alone in the Dark From 1992 got a Remake more than 30 years after its initial release.... and the new game is quite a departure from the original. The story got expanded quite a bit, but the open endedness of the original got replaced with a more narrative-focused, linear and cinematic experience.
Not the remake I wanted, but it still offers a few worthwhile things.
