Many Novus Ordo adherents (those in the Vatican II sect under Antipope Francis) & others believe the error that Mary is the co-redemptrix: as if the faithful were redeemed by Christ & Mary, or by Christ with Mary as a sub-redeemer — no. Mary is not the co-redemptrix. Only Christ is the Redeemer, which was dogmatically defined at the Council of Trent:
Pope Pius IV, Council of Trent, Sess. 25, Denz. 984, Dec. 4, 1563, ex cathedra: “… the saints, who reign with Christ, offer up their prayers to God for men; and that it is good and useful to invoke them suppliantly and, in order to obtain favors from God through His Son JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD, WHO ALONE IS OUR REDEEMER and Savior… And they must also teach that images of Christ, the virgin mother of God and the other saints should be set up and kept… But if anyone should teach or maintain anything contrary to these decrees, let him be anathema.”
Mary, being most devoted to Christ, said that God is her Savior (Luke 1:47) - not herself & Christ. This video defeats many arguments that claim Mary is the co-redemptrix or co-redeemer.
