'WHAT'S FAGARA?'....I was at the tea cafe with my Egyptian friends, really funny people. Somebody was talking about something being, "Fagara, 'awi 'awi!" Something was VERY FAGARA!... Egyptian Arabic is not my language, I know if from watching Egyptian films as a kid. It is similar in some ways to our language, but I don't know it proper. So I asked, "What's Fagara?". Everybody in the tea cafe drew a breath and looked with eyes like pickles on sticks! Saying, "Don't say that word, it's so rude!". I asked my friends, "What's Fagara?". They said, "Like the Egyptian belly dancer, Fifi Abdu, it is: 'My arse is hanging out, but I don't care!'..." FAGARA.... ; ) K
