I just wanna say I love the goofy camera zoom in/out gimmick in this.
it's fun, hokey, campy & makes me dizzy like a cheap funhouse carnival ride.
Plot:
An American pathologist Dr. Bill Foster (John Ashley), who is investigating a strange chlorophyll disease among the inhabitants of a small island, discovers a mad doctor using a mysterious 'green blood' serum that has turned one of the unfortunate locals into an ultraviolent maniacal zombie monster who mauls and murders everyone in his path, as he rampages through the island jungle and villages.
Directed by Eddie Romero (no relation to George)
Coincidentally both zombie films 'Mad Doctor of Blood Island' and 'Night of the Living Dead' were released the same year, Mad Doctor on May 11th, and NOTLD on October 4th.
