The Universe conspired to bring a Vancouver boy some pride and joy

A small miracle happened at a 4 year old's birthday party in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
Here is a situation in a nutshell. Two Loving parents and their community wanted something special for their 4 year old's (who we will call Simon) birthday party. His elder sister is an extrovert and a leader in everything she does. In comparison, Simon was a shy and not as verbally-advanced as she was at his age.
However, party plans faced these seemingly unsurmountable odds:
1. Prevailing winds brought PM2.5 levels higher than 500 in Metro Vancouver for the past eight days. During those smokey days it was hazardous to be outdoors, so most people stayed at home. Canada Post stopped deliveries.
2. North Vancouver is one of the four rain dumping wet spots in metro. This is easily seen from the weather radar.
3. That particular area of North Vancouver, where the party would be held, receives approximately four times as precipitation of south Vancouver.
4. Physical distancing and other rules made most people too scared to attend parties. And if they did attend large events, they were to huddle in "social bubbles".
5. Approximately 90% of BC entertainers refuse to work.
6. Bobby the Magician suffers from allergy to dust and smoke particles. His substitute, Michael, was not available. Catherine the face painter would have to travel from a rural area of Langley BC to get to this party. Catherine does not own a car. Catherine did not know that the client had given the wrong address. Catherine uses Lucky Mobile and does not receive calls.
7. The party was held in an obscure playground in a public park that has the same name, despite their disconnected areas.
8. Thermal imagers used at the airports to screen for fever symptoms. Bobby's group brought this technology to birthday parties.
9. Dr. Fauci announced that people who were asymptomatic were not contageous; however, very few people had heard of it. Furthermore, the public-at-large thought that only airports would have thermal imaging.
10. Postscript:
The smoke cleared the night before. The rainshowers stopped 20 minutes before showtime. Air quality at the park was PM2.5 = O from the pollution tester.
Just 90 minutes after the party was over, that area of North Vancouver was hit by rain ... which was not in the weather forecast. What were the odds?!
