Resist the Negative Influence of Modern Society and Media. Allowing yourself to be swayed by the latest manufactured outrage does your spiritual growth no good. It only hampers your progress. Modern political and corporate culture exists to make money, without any moral guidance, hence they exploit techniques to make you fear and worry. These only serve to keep you occupied by either voting for made-up problems or clicking on ads to supply the tidal waves of fractions of a penny to increase their stock price. Turn off as much as you can and concentrate on doing good for yourself and those around you.
