WUS 2nd phase: amerlafrance Vs SNDBX (Hannibal at the Gates)

In this video I review 9th game of amerlafrance's 10 game run. In this game he faces SNDBX, an expert quickmatch player. amerlafrance's goal is to win 40% of his games in 2nd phase, which is required for him in order to move to 3rd phase.

Template name: Hannibal at the Gate
Notable settings:
1. 5 picks with 3 starting armies
2. 4 base income

Main criticism:
1. Making 3 picks together is risky, because if you lose 1 pick, your 2 picks would need to fight against 1 pick, meaning now you have 1 less safe pick than your opponent.
2. If you are in a strong position to break a bonus (border 2 bonus territories from 1 position), you should try to attempt to break a bonus.
3. Make sure that your starting picks can generate income even if few picks are lost.
4. Avoid bonuses with wastelands and do not tap 2 neutrals with 1 neutral on standard killrate.
5. Consider the fact that opponent might be able to predict your move, especially after executing the same strategy repeatedly. Always think how likely it is for opponent to anticipate your next move.

About Warzone Ultimate Series:
These series are mostly centered on playing 20 player 1v1 round robins tournaments. Players, who do very well in these tournaments, get invited to extra challenge games and if they do well, they get promoted to higher tier.
