The Munsters: Season 1 | Episode 22 | (Dance With Me, Herman)
Lily finds an invitation inside Marilyn's bureau drawer, for a party taking place in her school. Lily thinks that Marilyn's trying to hide them the invitation and she decides to talk about it during dinner. She wants to do it in a subtle fashion and advices Herman to lead the conversation to the party subject. But when everybody is gathered together, Herman asks Marilyn straight forward about the party. After Lily has explained why she founded the invitation, Marilyn says that she hasn't tell anything about it, because actually, that is a dance party. Marilyn knows that her uncle isn't an experimented dancer. Herman is worried because he doesn't want to disappoint Marilyn. Grandpa fixes a potion in order to help Herman, but it doesn't work. Later, Herman finds an ad in the paper about a dance school, where he can learn many kinds of styles at low rates. Herman inscribes himself in the dance school, in fact, with a new teacher, Miss Valentine, who at first will have the scare of a hell with Herman. Later, the teacher gets used to dance with Herman. Herman learns ball dance and rock, but he simply doesn't show grace and skills for dance precisely. However, Herman has news for the family: dance classes are going so well, that the school director wants to take him as a dance teacher. The teacher makes Herman to sign up a suspicious contract. Herman feels so confident, that he's dreaming to become a great artist, and even reaches Broadway or Hollywood like Gene Kelly. But Grandpa discovers that the contract is nothing but a fraud, because Herman has signed up a membership to take a determined amount of classes at low rates and an insurance policy, in which the school will be the main beneficiary. Nevertheles, the director finds that the police is behind the case, and after having seen the kind of pupil that Heman is, he decides to fire him and tears his "contract". At home, Grandpa tells Herman everything about the fraud. Disappointed decides not going to the party, and tells Lily and Marilyn not to worry about and go to the party. Lily agrees, but at the porch she pretends falling down and sprains her ankle, as a support gesture to Herman.
