PHIL HENDRIE started out in radio as a D.J. (after doing construction work in the hot sun), and morphed into being a vocal cast-of-characters on syndicated radio in the '80s, '90s, and early '00s.
He was infamous---on radio---for doing various outrageous characters and having irate radio listeners calling in to him, without knowing that they had been misled by Hendrie and his dozens of fictional characters.
He currently has a podcast, in which he plays a radio host with four co-hosts and many call-in guests---all of which he extemporaneously voices: improv-style, and a website with thousands of hours of entertainment (the old radio shows, wherein live callers called in, and Phil played with them and got them to absolutely freak out: it's cheap and has over 10,000 hours of hilarity and insight into human nature)---if you like using your imagination.
