Another Mile by Daniel Kelly

In 1797, William Clark was part of a group of 17 survivors of a shipwreck (Sydney Cove) off the coast of Tasmania (van Diemen's Land) on a mission to seek help. Their own longboat was wrecked and they had to walk 600 miles up the coast to Port Jackson. William was one of only three survivors.
