Sunday, October 21st, Politicon offered a panel discussion titled #MAGA! moderated by Breitbart.com editor Joel Pollak, featuring Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, former Pussycat Dolls singer Kaya Jones (now working on urban policy), Pennsylvania Trump organizer David Urban, and Breitbart radio host Sonnie Johnson.
Jesse of course calls President Trump "The Great White Hope," Making America Great Again by keeping his promises, bringing jobs back, bringing down unemployment for blacks and everyone — most of all dealing with the illegal alien situation, and exposing the children of the lie: the liberal media, Democratic Party, RINO Republicans, and Never Trumpers.
Sonnie Johnson talks about how America was never great for blacks who grew up in horrible cities under the boot of the Democratic Party. She says her mother to this day is still a crack head, and her father died.
But Jesse points out that when he was growing up, blacks were moral, they weren't on drugs, committing crimes, killing one another, going to jail — they didn't consider themselves poor, didn't blame others and complain about "racism," and didn't think, feel or act like victims. Blacks need fathers and mothers to get married and raise their children in the right way. He said it's not going to change for blacks until they take responsibility for their own lives, and stop looking to someone else to take care of them.
Sonnie says that kind of talk is why we conservatives / Republicans won't get the black vote — and Jesse retorts: Because we're telling them the truth?
They agree that Republicans (until President Trump) have been cowards and don't talk to black people or fight for their votes. Some of them talk about appealing to the blacks — but Jesse asks, by doing what?
Sonnie kept going on long rants, making points about school choice, etc., but repeatedly talking about blacks being under Democrat rule "for 60 years." At one point Jesse asks her, "What do you want?" To the problems Sonnie rattle..
