manualy begging the semi fully auto loading fire arm ambiguity definition question

semi & fully automatic sound like they are very similar , & interchangable & for both , the words WILL confuse people who knew little about firearms since the term semi-automatic is a LESS descriptive term for autoloader & the two terms were used interchangeably before the 1960s lets review that in both each shot is fired , the case of the cartridge or shotshell is ejected & a new cartridge is automatically reloaded in an autoloading firearm BUT only the auto firing weapon can fire more than one shot & why hide the important fact , lets erase the ambiguity & build the definition into the terms we use
