Jesus sits down to eat the Passover with his Disciples. The one who had come to be THE Passover Lamb was eating the Passover and teaching his Disciples what all it would mean moving forward.

Also discussed:

• Moving forward through the Passion Narrative, Everything must be understood within the motif of the Exodus and the Passover.
• At times the Gospel writers were careful to conceal the identity of some people. They did this to protect them from Jewish persecution.
• Jesus' arrangements for the Passover were kept from Judas so he could not yet betray him.
• How closely knit of a group do you think the disciples were after 3 years of being together constantly? How devastating was the news that one of them would betray Jesus?
• Always beware of the corrupting influence of money. Do not think you are above its deceptive power.
• Judas did not call Jesus "Lord" but "Rabbi."
• Judas had seen all that Jesus did and should have known who he was but, he still betrayed him.
• Let him who thinks he stands, take heed lest he fall!
• Don't ever think it cannot happen to you. Work out your salvation with fear and trembling.
• There are many different teachings on the Lord's Supper. We should only care about what the Word of God says. Period.
• How sad it is that the Lord's Supper and Holy Baptism are intended by God for us as great blessings and all the church does is fight about them.
