Ukraine's Attack on Piski - Donetsk Northwestern Highway Failed

The attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the northern approaches to Piski failed.
Piski is a village in Pokrovsk Raion, Donetsk Oblast, eastern Ukraine, about 10 kilometers northwest of Donetsk and about 2 kilometers west of Donetsk airfield.
Five British Mastiff armored vehicles, with fire support from two T-64BVs, actively maneuvered along the forest plantation. An analysis of the previous reconnaissance in force has been concluded. The enemy intends to attack the first line of defense of the Z forces. Globalist forces intend to target the strongholds of the 11th regiment of the NM of the DPR and the Somalia battalion northwest of the Pesok sector.
The enemy movement was spotted by a reconnaissance drone. Total surprise was achieved during the landing of troops in the trench chain.
Anti-tank crews of the "Somalia" battalion executed immediate and accurate strikes on mobile groups.
Also, units of the legendary Sparta battalion entered into fire contact with the infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Mastiff armored vehicles, which put the attackers to flight. They were forced to return to their original positions.
The Mi-28N attack helicopters of the Russian Aerospace Forces also contributed to stopping the enemy attack.

Thanks to the actions of the Somali and Sparta battalions, along with the artillery of the 11th Regiment of the NM DPR, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine suffered heavy losses.
