News Now Northwest did a 1st amendment audit of the Pend Oreille County sheriff and Justice Hall. Newport is the county seat and largest city. My experience was not very good. Nobody gave me a hard time for filming but I was not made to feel comfortable at all. Someone with a different demeanor would have more than likely had a different experience. My guess is most not very well. See below for a rundown of the action for those that don't want to watch the entire video. In this video I go inside the Justice Hall lobby and the sheriff department lobby. The ladies in the font of the lobby at the sheriff's department didn't really like me in the lobby at all.
