For long-range Geostrategic and operational air mobility, the SEAPLANE is the way to land within the 720 degree NLB space and not leave a trace on the Earth's surface of its presence. HIDING such a large seaplane from air/space surveillance would be difficult--but not impossible; short of that--its stay in the 720 NLB should be TEMPORARY for insertion/extractions which could be mini-subs that can continue to hide underwater:

The efficiency of BWB is everything works and provides lift that facilitates safety by crash-resistant, sturdiness. Cleverly, the thick wings enable engines to be maintained/repaired IN-FLIGHT to prevent PEA crashes; a Murphy's Law TBATE humility lacking in human aviation today.

However, if engines are pod-mounted above the wings--like we do with the M113A8 "AeroGavin"'s Russian contraprops--they can have 2x engines in the frontal area of 1x reducing drag using engines that don't have to be P-38-style handed complicated.
Flying wings like BWBs have can offer front leading edge passenger windows for spectacular views or accurate views for weapons aimers/navigators in war.
In the boat-shape even in a minimalist 1x time, crash landing mode is too onerous, the ACLS hovercraft "donut" can render sealanding as well as cow pasture rough field landing capabilities--not leaving wheel rut traces enemy air/space surveillance can detect.
