In this video, I explain the causes of the symptoms associated with Parkinson's Disease. I cover the treatments, including alternative ones. I also talk about a drug warning that I have only seen listed on flyers working in Emergency Rooms. This information needs to be in drug guides, but I have never seen it listed there. It is concerning an anti-emetic (stops vomiting) that interacts with Parkinson's medications. You might want to take notes if you or a family member has PD. You need to be aware if this drug is ordered for nausea or vomiting. A lot of doctors do not even know about this interaction. I have had to educate them. My father had Parkinson's and I saw what happened when he was given the anti-emetic. I have seen other reactions in other PD patients that were given this drug that I cover in this video.
