Canonical scriptures are those that have been approved by the church as “Divinely Inspired” in codex. Is this the one and only reason for the thorough filtering of sacred texts? There might be proof that there is a more heinous intention behind the removal of books. So, what about scripture that was found years after the Bible was already assembled and completed? Are they as authentic, or, dare we say, even more authentic. After all, those Gnostic scriptures of mysterious origin have been free from the sanitization process of the Orthodox Church. which leads to the question, who gave these particular men the authority to change ancient sacred text. Why does the Vatican hide 99.9 percent of religious doctrines?
-Christianity is not the only sect to have missing and or hidden sacred texts. The world of Buddhism and eastern thought in general has a plethora of wisdom that is often times, not tapped into here in the west, especially that concerning Zen. But, what if these ancient teachings have, not only similar wisdom, but also extremely similar origins when connected to even older ancient mythology’s.
Now, we know that the Christ and the Buddha were not the same person. What they knew and taught however, is congruent down to gnats ass.
- Let’s compare the divine lessons and find the similarities and differences and see how they line up with analytical psychology and mythology as old as mankind itself.
- Agree or disagree is up to each individual person, but no matter who you are, there are gems of wisdom from both figures that can be learned from and can not be ignored by our materialist society.
