Kato 176-8514 | EMD SD70ACe Diesel Locomotive | 1030 Norfolk Southern | N Scale | Review | HD

Here is my latest model train review and here is my review of the Kato EMD SD70ACe Tier 3 in the Norfolk Southern livery that is represented by 1030. This is my first N scale Norfolk Southern model train I have covered on the channel from Kato and it is a very nice model from them

It is a nice runner overall with its silky smooth driveline and it is almost silent running as well. I always class Kato as the "Volvo" of model trains in N scale. My experience with Kato has been 99.9% positive and I am keen to cover more of their models in the future.

They are designed to be more robust so they can withstand lots of handling. So don't except these models to be packed with detail like with other brands because Kato models may be on par with Lima for detail, they are the amongst the best N scale model trains for quality and performance and nothing in the N scale market comes close to beating Kato although the newer models are close but Kato is still number one.
