The word repentance means 'a change of mind', so you are changing your mind from unbelief to belief in the Good News of the Gospel. It's not about what we do, it is about what Jesus Christ has done, his death, burial and resurrection, believing from the heart, trusting in the blood. Faith alone in Christ alone.
