As his metrics rise and his money flow comes in at new levels of ludicrousness, Tim Pool’s beanie is barely able to contain his swelling ego. Due to his constant algorithm chasing and fencepost riding, there is a astonishing correlation in the quality of Tim Pool’s content decreasing versus his metrics rising and his cash flow overflowing. This is a result of Tim Pool abandoning his former mission of spending his donations on hard-hitting, cinema verité-style journalism, and instead sitting behind a desk in his McMansion Commune and espousing only the most milquetoast of takes for hours on end, extending into his own livestream show where his guests come second to his “genius” takes. As a result, this commentary seeks to explain why it isn’t a good thing to be playing it safe, as it wasn’t even an idea in Tim Pool’s world until he started interacting heavily with Con Inc. in the first place.
