Testing Gaming on Linux in 2018 - Part 1, Initial Setup & GPU Driver Disaster?

After the latest Steam Play for Linux update, I figured it was finally time to experiment with running Linux as the main operating system on my 8700k gaming rig. Join me as I vlog my experiences getting everything set up and trying to play my favorite games on Linux.

Part 1 (this episode) will focus on getting the OS set up, configuring Nvidia drivers, Vulkan installation, etc. Part 2 (next episode) will focus on Lutris and games like Overwatch.

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:graphics-drivers
sudo apt install nvidia-driver-396
