STUGS! Part 3: Turretless Tanks for Indirect Fire

Realizing that the excellent, flat-trajectory 75mm gun on the STUG cannot reach dead spaces behind terrain rises and buildings, a howitzer variant STUG was fielded not unlike our M8 Gun Motor Carriage with the 75mm pack howitzer in a turret on a M5 "Stuart" light tank chassis--except the German STUGs were far better armor protected because THEY WERE MORE EFFICIENT IN THEIR DESIGNS by not wasting potential with a turret. Its funny all the fucktards who will praise the WW2 Germans to the hilt--but when the time comes for Americans to get off their asses today and do the same smart things, they wimp-out retreating back into BS like wanting 360 degree revolving turrets because they lack confidence and are scared the enemy will sneak up on them and get them. Their panic fears manifest in large turrets sure to reveal their presence to the enemy insuring they get ignited when their turrets are popped off! A little courage and frugality up-front goes a long way towards preventing the horrors they fear. Maybe this is why we need non-tankers to operate light tanks and assault guns?
