chess tree climbing
Chess game with animation. It's a game between two modern "Neural Network" engines, ShashChess v15.1 (White) and Marvin v4.0.1 (Black), both with an ELO rating far beyond 3000 (our human World Champion has an ELO below 2900).
I have set the start position after 3...dxc3. For a long time the evaluation value stays around 0.00 : until move 49 (!) Marvin keeps the balance. Finally ShashChess, being the strongest of these two, manages to outplay Marvin : the White evaluation climbs and ShashChess wins in the end. Time control was 20 minutes each player for the whole game, plus 10 seconds bonus after each move.
Replay the game by the LiChess link in the PGN notation.
Animation: stabilized part of "How To Climb Trees" by VEE3RDEYE, see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BjsDBMnCAlo
Music: two tracks of the album "Birds of Fire" by Mahavishnu Orchestra : "Miles Beyond" and "Hope"
