Gubarev is a Ukrainian born politician and a former "People's Governor" of the Donetsk People's Republic.

Frankly, Russia's ability to use soft power and control the media space leaves much to be desired. Although it's better than during the First Chechen War in the 90-s, when the Russian TV channels and newspapers were systemically presenting the Russian soldiers as the bad guys - that was really embarrassing and demoralizing.

Some people in this video are chanting "Shame!" as Gubarev is being detained. But many people also think that the actions of the law enforcement are fair and should've happened long ago.
