The floods have arrived here and the devastation is beyond imagining for entire townships that have been inundated, destroying infastructure, homes, goods, services, jobs, schools... in my community in the mountains lands are terraformed : quiet creeks are replaced by raging torrents of red water full of earth and silt from landslides where entire heavily forested mountainsides have let go their bedrock and plunged, trees and all into the swirling creeks below.
