Catholicism is True Orthodoxy. Eastern "Orthodoxy" is not Orthodoxy. Eastern "Orthodoxy" was founded in 1054, breaking away from the original church. They adhere to Palamism which is contrary to theology of early church fathers & the Bible.
"Orthodox" also claim they only acknowledge councils in which a certain number of bishops attended or in which certain bishops were present: however, they reject the Council of Florence, which Eastern bishops initially accepted. Florence also had the number of bishops present which they claim is necessary, yet they also accept councils which had less bishops than they claim is necessary.
"Orthodox" claim to follow councils which condemn their own doctrines: they adhere to Palamism (invented over 1,000 years after Christ, divides God) which is refuted by their own saints & councils. "Orthodox" reject the Filioque (that the Holy Spirit precedes from the Father & the Son), yet the church fathers & the Bible support it (John 16). They also allow divorce & remarriage, which is contrary to the words of Christ (Luke 16:18, Matt. 19:6).
Just like all non-Catholic churches, Eastern "Orthodoxy" is a breakaway from the original & true church of Christ, the traditional Catholic Church: founded in Rome by St. Peter, according to the church fathers, historical documentation and apostolic tradition.
