Then on July 5, 2020, Leneesha Columbus was fatally shot a block away from the square and the child she was pregnant with died four weeks later. Then on March 6, 2021, Imaz Wright was shot outside the Cup Foods store and died at a nearby hospital. And as the George Floyd debacle reached its anniversary shots continued to ring out. All at the intersection of East 38th Street and Chicago Avenue in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
