Why would a reasonable mind reject mountains of scientific evidence?

… the answer of course is severe brainwashing, like we’ve all been exposed to. Some of us have the mental ability to lock onto the facts and shake off the diabolical conditioning inflicted since birth, and some don’t, it seems.
What a shame. An entire group of folk doomed to live out their lives, in a complete fantasy land, a world, that simply, does not exist.
It’s not easy, but we should try to refer to these people in the proper context, as being severely brainwashed, and in need of extra patience to help them see the truth… instead of the usual way we feel about them emotionally, which is that they are simply, a bunch of dumb fucks, that can’t separate fact from fiction.
I did say “try”, to do this. Try to be patient. Try not to call them dumb fucks. Maybe we can at least tone it down a bit, and go a little “lighter”on the criticism… like instead of dumb fucks, we go with the more friendly, dumb shits.
Personally, I can’t commit to being such a nice guy, just yet, but one day, I genuinely hope to refer to these dumb fucks, as dumb shits. That’s when I’ll know my mind has finally matured, fully. Whatever.
