The cold weather has a huge impact on grain. This will most probably be the most challenging harvest seasons for US/Canadian farmers because most of the crop was planted very late due to the flooding and the very wet spring.
It was a planting nightmare for farmers.

A lot of the corn is dead. Here is a map showing the Crop-Progress The Percentages of mature corn as of Oct 14, 2019. The average % of mature crop in all the corn growing states is 75% from the low of 42% to the high of 100% in only 2 states.

The early season snowstorms showed no mercy to the farmers especially the ones in N.Dakota.
Ukraine map shows worse than normal conditions across large portions of the country. There is low moisture availability in the soil. This is bad new for the farmers planting winter crops.
Argentina is also experiencing dry weather and is cutting their expectations of wheat crop this year. Normally Argentina is the 5th largest exporter of wheat after Russia, the EU, Canada, and the Ukraine.
It is not only the North that faces weather challenges, so is the south.
In Brazil, arid soil conditions have meant that farmers could not plant. This is the slowest sowing start in six years.
And finally China is exempting pork and soybeans from additional trade war duties, opening the door for significant agricultural purchases because it recognizes that its people will need food.
Food unlike money, can not be printed to infinity, it must be grown and therefore no power on earth can manipulate food shortages.
Having said all of this, there is most definitely a FORCE, an evil energy, trying to convince everyone that everything is OK, we are just fine. WHY are they lying? What are THEY trying to keep away from the public?
USDA is just a market stabilizer. They are not giving the truth of the numbers on the ground.
