Isaias May Impact Florida and the Southeast U.S.; Heat Persists in the West - Hurricane Isaias may bring significant impacts to Florida and the Southeast Coast this weekend. A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for portions of the Florida east coast. Elsewhere, heavy rainfall along a stationary front is expected from the Lower Mississippi Valley to the Appalachians, with possible flooding. Heat Advisories and Excessive Heat Warnings remain in effect for much of the West.
