Er war bereits Bundestagsabgeordneter für die SPD und Mitglied der Parlamentarischen Versammlung des Europarates. Nun will Dr. Wolfgang Wodarg erneut den Schritt in Richtung Bundestag wagen – diesmal allerdings als Kandidat der Basisdemokratischen Partei Deutschland. Im Gespräch mit Margo Zvereva erklärte er, warum die SPD für ihn nicht mehr infrage kommt und warum er nun auf Regionalpolitik setzt.

"Vielleicht ist es auch das Ende der Medienlandschaft, wie wir sie kennen. Denn wie sich die Medien jetzt verhalten haben, hat es sie untauglich gemacht für eine demokratische Gesellschaft."

"Ich sage das, was ich glaube, was ich richtig finde und was ich recherchiert habe. Und wer mich dann ausschaltet, ist selbst schuld. Dann suche ich mir andere Wege, wie ich die Menschen erreiche."
