My declaration of war
I; Rebecca S. Meadows do hereby declare war on the guardianship laws of the United States of America. It is my ambition and full intention to repeal the existing laws and replace them with language that better serves to protect my fellow Americans.
This is my sacred vow as a survivor of guardianship abuse.
As part of this mission, I invite other victims and survivors of guardianship abuse to join me.
You can email me at [email protected] if you’d like to participate.
My battle strategy is simple and triune in nature. I have been fighting this war for many years already. There are just three conflicts left to win.
First; the completion of my current book.
Second, the launch of my movie that will show the world how abusive these guardianships can be and
Third, my march to congress with a group of people behind me consisting of survivors of this abuse, their friends and families, and whatever lawyers I can find who will help me write an appropriate bill to offer to Congress as a replacement for the current broken legislation. We have to protect others from abuse like this!
Late one night in February of 1997, my parents drug me into court. That night I was stripped of my constitutional rights in an “emergency” hearing.
I was then handed over to a crazy lawyer who was abusive to my family and me for many years.
When I tried to fix this situation in 2004; my parents and the state of Montana continued to deny me my constitutional rights.
I fought for nearly 15 years to escape from that abusive guardianship.
On January 25th, 2012 I finally walked out of court victorious over that legal monster.
Since that night in 1997 and later that day in 2012 when I finally won my freedom; terminating that broken law has been my central focus in life.
